Associate Manager - Accounts & Finance

Qualification: Any accounting graduate, preferred accounting post-graduate.

Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented incumbent to oversee financial planning, accounting operations, cash management, taxation, reporting, and financial analysis. The role will work closely with senior management to provide financial insights, control costs, improve profitability, and ensure effective management of the company's financial resources.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare annual budgets, financial forecasts, business plans, and long-term financial plans.
• Analyze actual financial performance against budgets and forecasts and prepare variance analysis and management reports.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to leadership on financial strategy, cost optimization, profitability improvement, and business performance.
• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger, and payroll accounting.
• Manage and ensure timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, liquidity, and fund requirements to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Prepare and monitor cash flow forecasts and ensure optimum utilization of available funds.
• Manage banking relationships, including bank accounts, loans, credit facilities, investments, fund transfers, and related documentation.
• Develop effective cash management strategies to minimize idle funds and optimize available cash.
• Monitor receivables, payables, collections, and payment cycles to improve working capital efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, taxation laws, statutory requirements, and internal financial policies.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks, and other external financial stakeholders.
• Prepare and review MIS reports, financial dashboards, management reports, and key financial performance indicators (KPIs).
• Identify financial risks, control weaknesses, and opportunities for improving financial processes and internal controls.
• Support management in financial decision-making through financial modeling, business analysis, and scenario planning.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial records and reports.
