About this role
We are seeking ahighly motivated and detail-oriented professional to join the IORS division.
This role will support one of Acuitys buy-side clients with management companyaccounting activities, with a primary focus on cash management, general ledgerreconciliations, expense accounting, fixed assets, tax-support activities, andfinancial reporting.
Management CompanyAccounting Support
Performdaily cash reconciliations and investigate outstanding or unreconciled items.
Prepareand distribute daily cash reports, ensuring cash balances and movements areaccurate and timely.
Prepareand post manual journal entries and Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) journalentries in Workday.
Maintainprepaid-expense schedules and record periodic amortization entries accurately.
Performaccrued-expense analysis, validate supporting documentation, and preparerelated accrual entries.
Managefixed-asset accounting activities in the Workday Fixed Assets module, includingasset setup, capitalization, depreciation, transfers, and disposals.
Performgeneral ledger account reconciliations, investigate variances, and maintainsupporting schedules.
Reconcilecharitable contributions and marketing-conference expenses, ensuringappropriate accounting treatment and documentation.
Assistwith sales and use tax and commercial rent tax return preparation,reconciliation, and supporting schedules.
Supportpreparation of Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA) quarterly reporting andrelated data validation.
Reviewexpense coding in the Workday Expense module for accuracy, completeness, policycompliance, and proper general ledger allocation.
