Associate III - Data Engineering

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced DataStage Developer with 6+ years of expertise in designing, developing, and supporting enterprise data integration solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on experience with IBM DataStage and Control-M, and be capable of developing scalable ETL processes to support business-critical data initiatives. Experience with SAS Scripting, SAP BODS, and FCB Netezza/DataStage environments will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain ETL workflows using IBM DataStage.
• Develop and schedule batch processes and workflows using Control-M.
• Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading activities across multiple data sources and target systems.
• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into robust ETL solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data integration, performance, and production issues.
• Optimize DataStage jobs for efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data architects, and application teams to deliver data solutions.
• Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and quality standards.
• Support production deployments and provide ongoing maintenance and enhancements.

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Data Integration and ETL development.
• Strong hands-on experience with IBM DataStage.
• Strong experience with Control-M scheduling and job orchestration.
• Experience in SQL development, data analysis, and performance tuning.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAS Scripting or SAP BODS.
• Experience working in FCB Netezza/DataStage environments.
• Exposure to data warehousing concepts and enterprise data platforms.
• Experience working in large-scale production support environments.
