Associate General Manager

Key Responsibilities

Project Operations Management: Oversee the end-to-end execution of 150200 residential interior projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, quality standards, and defined processes.

Team Leadership & Performance Management: Lead and manage a team of 1520 members, allocate project responsibilities, monitor individual performance, and drive accountability and productivity.

Project Planning & Execution: Ensure effective project scheduling, resource allocation, site coordination, material availability, and timely completion of project milestones.

Operational Excellence: Establish and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs), identify process gaps, and implement improvements to enhance execution efficiency and scalability.

Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to design specifications, installation standards, workmanship quality, and company guidelines across all project sites.

Cost & Budget Control: Monitor project-level costs, identify cost overruns, minimize rework and wastage, and drive operational efficiency while maintaining profitability.

Customer Experience Management: Ensure timely project updates, proactive resolution of escalations, and effective coordination with design, sales, procurement, and installation teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.

Vendor & Contractor Management: Manage vendor and contractor performance, ensure timely execution, monitor service quality, and resolve operational bottlenecks.

MIS & Performance Reporting: Track key operational metrics, including project progress, ontime delivery, pending activities, customer escalations, rework, cost variance, and team productivity.

Risk & Escalation Management: Identify execution risks, address project delays, resolve critical site-level issues, and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with design, procurement, warehouse, quality, and customer service teams to ensure smooth project execution from design finalization through handover.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Interior Design, Construction Management, Operations, or a related field.
• 8 to 12 years of experience in project operations, residential interiors, turnkey execution, or construction management.
• Demonstrated experience managing large-scale project portfolios and leading teams of 1520 members or more.
• Strong understanding of residential interior execution, site operations, procurement coordination, installation, and project handover.
• Proven expertise in project planning, budgeting, cost control, quality management, and operational process improvement.
• Strong analytical, stakeholder management, team leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience using project management tools, MIS dashboards, and operational reporting systems.

Key Requirement: The candidate must have experience managing a high-volume portfolio of 150-200 concurrent interior projects while leading a 15 to 20-member operations team and ensuring timely delivery, quality compliance, customer satisfaction, and cost efficiency.
