Associate General Manager-Tender And Proposal

Role & responsibilities:

• Develop process design basis, PFDs, P&IDs, mass & energy balances for WTP, ETP, CETP and industrial process systems.
• Perform process calculations and equipment sizing for pumps, blowers, tanks, reactors, filters and chemical dosing systems.
• Define process parameters, operating conditions and select suitable treatment technologies.
• Conduct feasibility studies, process optimisation and value engineering for cost-effective solutions.
• Coordinate with Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation teams for project design and execution.
• Review vendor proposals, technical documents, equipment specifications and participate in technical evaluations.
• Provide technical support during construction, installation, commissioning and performance trials.
• Prepare design reports, SOPs, O&M manuals and ensure compliance with applicable environmental/statutory requirements.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant engineering/design software with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of UF-RO and MEE/MVRE will be an added advantage.

Preferred candidate profile :

• Education: B.E./B.Tech in Chemical, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Preferred: M.E./M.Tech in Environmental, Chemical, or Process Engineering will be an added advantage.
• Industry: Candidates from the Water & Wastewater Treatment industry only will be preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, with strong exposure to Process Design and Proposal Engineering/Writing.
• Hands-on experience in preparing technical proposals, process calculations, PFDs, P&IDs, equipment sizing and techno-commercial inputs.
• Experience in WTP, ETP, CETP, UF-RO and MEE/MVRE projects will be preferred.
