Associate Engineer- Take Off

Job Overview

We are seeking smart and dynamic B Tech/BE Engineers (Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics) with 2+ years of experience. The ideal candidate should possess strong engineering fundamentals, excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, a high level of commitment, and a strong eagerness to learn and deliver value-added solutions. The BURNDY Take-Off Engineer is responsible for reviewing electrical and grounding design drawings, specifications, identifying and quantify the required BURNDY products and related grounding components and providing accurate Bill of Material (BOM) and Marked up drawing.

Key Responsibilities

• Review grounding, electrical, structural, and related engineering drawings
• Prepare detailed take-offs for BURNDY grounding and electrical connection products and identify required quantities
• Prepare accurate BOMs and Marked up drawing based on project drawings and specifications
• Cross-reference drawing requirements with appropriate BURNDY catalog products.
• Support routine activities based on agreed Service Level Agreement

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (B Tech/BE) from four-year college or university; and 2+ plus years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. To perform this job an individual should understand electrical grounding and bonding systems, Good knowledge of MS Excel and Microsoft Office and ability to work with PDFs, drawings, BOMs, and technical catalogs.
