Job Details

Location: New Town,Kolkata, West Bengal.
Designation: Engineer - Desktop Support
Work Mode: Work from Office
Shift: Rotational Shifts (24x7 Support)

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, operating system, and network-related issues.
• Install and upgrade Microsoft Windows operating systems and related applications.
• Configure email clients, printers, and network connectivity.
• Provide support for user account management, password resets, and access permissions.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to Microsoft Office, browsers, antivirus software, and business applications.
• Manage IT asset inventory and maintain equipment records.
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs and warranty services.
• Provide onsite and remote support to end users.
• Log, track, and resolve tickets within defined SLAs.
• Ensure compliance with organizational IT policies and security standards.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of desktop and laptop hardware troubleshooting.
• Experience with Windows 10/11 installation, configuration, and support.
• Basic understanding of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, and Wi-Fi troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of Active Directory user administration.
• Experience in printer installation and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with remote support tools.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in rotational shifts and manage multiple support requests effectively.
