Job Purpose

• Lead and mentor a highly skilled data engineering team, fostering collaboration and technical excellence

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale integration and replatforming projects involving SAP S/4 HANA, Digital manufacturing, and IoT systems
• Design and manage scalable data platforms, including enterprise data lakes, warehouse, and data marts
• Collaborate closely with business leaders, data science, IT and digital teams to implement machine learning algorithms and drive data driven initiatives
• Develop and optimize data models, perform query tuning, and enhance data mart performance to deliver actionable business insights
• Make strategic architectural decisions across distributed, relational, and multi-dimensional storage platforms
• Oversee data ingestion, storage and enrichment processes, ensuring seamless data flow across the organization
• Utilize and manage distributed data frameworks such as Hadoop, spark, Hive, Presto, and EMR
• Leverage Azure cloud services (Databricks, Data Factory, HD Insight, Event Hubs, AKS,Azure DevOps) and SAP BI tools effectively
• Implement modern development practicesincluding containerization, microservices, and CI/CD pipelines
• Manage real-time and batch data processing frameworks such as Kafka, Airflow, Luigi, and SAP SLT
• Drive innovation through proofs of concept for next generation data processing and integration solutions, focusing on scalability and ROI

Role Description

• Develop technical solutions byy undersatanding business requirements and proposing effective approaches
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure smooth delivery of digital solutions
• Work within Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies, supporting DevOps and Scrum Master roles as needed
• Manage multiple concurrent projects throughout the software development lifecycle
• Hands-on development using PHP, Java, NET, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, C#.
• Work wit content Management Systems such as Sitecore, Acquia/Drupal, and Liferay
• DEsign and implement object-oriented solutions following best practices and design patterns
• Utilize Azure cloud platform and MS SQL databases for application development
• Use tools like UML design, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins), monitoring (Kibana), and log management
• Debug applications and services efficiently to ensure high-quality output
• Review code and project deliverables to maintain compliance with industry standards
• Apply responsive and adaptive design principles for UI development
• Stay updated with industry trends and contribute to enterprise solution architecture including data and information design

Key Skills

• Proficiency in Python, Flask, HTML, CSS, PHP, Java, NET, JS, C#
• Expertise in object-oriented design, design patterns, and algorithms
• Experience with database technologies such as MS SQL
• Knowledge of SOA design and implementation
• Experience with DevOps and automated testing tools
• Good debugging and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with UI/UX design practices and responsive web design
• Proficient with Git-based version control systems
