Associate Director of Product Solutions

Responsibilities:

• Own the end-to-end solutioning and presales agenda for enterprise merchants, acting as the senior point of contact for technology requirements and solution direction.
• Engage merchant stakeholders consultatively to understand business goals, technical needs, and challenges; translate those inputs into structured requirements and a clear solution strategy.
• Partner closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, and other internal teams to develop compelling, customized, and differentiated solutions that create value for both the merchant and PayU.
• Use a strong understanding of the PayU product suite to recommend relevant solution approaches after discussions with customer business and technical teams.
• Apply sound judgment to distinguish between core, as-is product capabilities and customized solution needs, balancing customer fit with scalable and effective delivery decisions.
• Lead solution storytelling and hands-on demonstrations for existing and prospective customers in close partnership with PayU's product and engineering teams.
• Keep sales and customer teams aligned on product delivery plans, changes, and dependencies so that assessed requirements remain connected to delivery expectations and launch readiness.
• Communicate solution recommendations, trade-offs, and delivery considerations clearly to senior and executive stakeholders, while building trusted relationships and enabling cross-functional teams to execute.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of overall technology industry experience across presales and product solutions, product management, or business analysis, ideally with a payment solution provider, a medium- to large-scale organization, or a start-up.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related discipline; equivalent relevant experience may also be considered.
• Proven experience in a customer-facing product solution or pre-sales role within the fintech or payments space.
• A demonstrated track record of consulting on technical solutions for fintech or payments customers.
• An engineering background is required, along with strong knowledge of online payments.
• Ability to discuss the financial considerations associated with the solutions being proposed.
• Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to work independently, stay detail-oriented, and drive results in a complex, cross-functional environment.
