Job Title: Associate Consultant Solutions Design

Reporting To: Head SD-Transport

Job Scope:

To analyze multi facet information and design cost-effective, operationally-feasible solution to meet customer requirements. Support operation in re-engineering of current process / setup to sustain cost competitiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Liaising with customers and internal BD teams to understand supply chain requirements and design suitable logistics solutions.
• Collecting, validating, and analyzing operational data to support solution modeling and evaluation.
• Developing, modeling, and selecting optimal transport and logistics operating solutions using appropriate software tools.
• Preparing solution documents, presenting proposals to customers, and securing buyin from Transport, Operations, and BD teams.
• Managing assigned consultancy or solution design projects while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contributing to knowledge management by updating documents, sharing best practices, and supporting methodology development.
• Maintaining a database of vendors, assets, operators, MHE, costs, and other essential information for solution development.
• Supporting operational teams during solution implementation to ensure smooth transition and alignment with the designed model.
• Ensuring all proposed solutions and implementation plans comply with company standards, customer expectations, and operational feasibility.
• Acting as an internal point of contact for accessing logistics and transport solutions expertise across teams.
• Preparing and submitting required reports, analyses, and updates to support development team meetings and decisionmaking.

Experience:

• 3 to 8 years logistics operations management in transport business

Qualification:

• Degree in relevant discipline (engineering degree preferred)
• Masters in relevant discipline

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of warehousing, transportation operations (road, rail, air), and broader supply chain concepts.
• Proficiency in data analysis, process flow diagrams, time & motion studies, and advanced computer tools.
• Strong customer focus with commercial awareness and the ability to understand and address customer needs effectively.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to collaborate and work effectively as a reliable team player.
• Strong decisionmaking, planning, and organizing abilities with sound judgment and efficient work methods.
• Flexible, innovative, selfdriven, and able to think strategically by identifying trends and opportunities within the transportation and logistics industry.
