Associate/ Consultant - SAP PP/ QM

We are looking for a motivated SAP PP/QM Associate/ Consultant to join our enterprise IT / consulting team. The candidate will assist in day-to-day production support, system configuration, master data management, and user issue resolution for SAP PP and QM modules

Job Description SAP PP/QM Functional Consultant

Experience: 1-4 Years

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Support SAP PP processes primarily for process industries, including process orders, master recipes, resources, BOMs, and production versions, with knowledge of discrete manufacturing processes such as production orders, routings, and work centers.
• Handle ticketing queue (L1/L2 support), document root cause analysis (RCA), and resolve user queries within SLA guidelines
• Coordinate with business users to gather requirements on Issues, clarify issues, communicate progress, and provide functional updates.
• Perform initial troubleshooting of SAP issues using relevant transactions, application logs, background-job logs, short dumps, and change documents.
• Support MRP, production scheduling, material staging, goods movements, backflushing, and production order confirmations.
• Support SAP QM processes, including inspection lots, results recording, Usage Decision (UD), inspection plans, sampling procedures, and quality notifications.
• Handle batch management, batch status, batch blocking, shelf-life expiry, quality inspection stock, and batch release-related issues.
• Analyze MRP exceptions, material shortages, production discrepancies, and PP/QM configuration or master-data issues.
• Support integration between SAP PP, QM, MM, and EWM, coordinating with relevant teams to resolve cross-functional issues.
• Work with ABAP developers on customizations and enhancements, prepare functional specifications based on business requirements, and support development testing and validation.
• Assist with requirement analysis, SAP configuration, functional testing (SIT/UAT), deployment, and hyper care support, prepare end-user training manuals or SOPs.
• Participate in small projects, process improvements, and master-data migration activities. Basic knowledge of SAP Migration For PP/QM objects would be an added advantage.
• Support transport validation, regression testing, and post-deployment verification to ensure changes work as expected.

Must Have Skills:

* SAP PP & SAP QM, Fioiri, GUI, Master data, Order life cycle support, MRP, Planning Execution and Configuration

* Excellent Communication Skills both Verbal and Written

Good to Have Skills:

* Candidate having S/4 Hana Implementation experience

* Experience working on ticket handling and particularly on 'Service now' ticketing tool is an added advantage
