Role & responsibilities
- ECG (Electrocardiogram): Records the electrical signals of the heart to find rhythm issues.
- Echocardiogram: Uses sound waves (ultrasound) to show the structure, valves, and pumping strength of the heart.
- Stress Test: Monitors heart performance while you exercise on a treadmill or ride a bike.
- Holter Monitor: A portable device worn for 24 to 48 hours to track heart rhythm continuously.
- Cardiac CT or MRI: Creates detailed 3D pictures of the heart and blood vessels to check for blockages
