About this role
As Associate Cloud Operations Engineer you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure, ensuring system reliability, performance and security. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to monitor cloud services, automate operational tasks and troubleshoot issues in a fast-paced environment.
In this role, you will...
- Monitor and Maintain Cloud Infrastructure: Ensure high availability, performance and security of cloud-based services and applications.
- Incident Response & Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve cloud-related incidents, working closely with senior engineers to address issues efficiently.
- Automation & Scripting: Assist in automating repetitive operational tasks using scripting languages like Python, Bash.
- System & Network Monitoring: Utilize monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana or ELK APM to track system health and performance.
- Security & Compliance: Follow best practices to ensure cloud environments are secure and compliant with industry standards.
- Deployment & Configuration Management: Support deployments using CI/CD like Ansible.
- Collaboration & Documentation: Work with engineering teams to optimize cloud resources and maintain detailed documentation for operational processes.
Youve Got What It Takes If You Have...
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 1+ years of experience in cloud operations.
- Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Familiarity with Linux and Windows server environments.
- Understanding of networking concepts (DNS, VPNs, load balancing, firewalls).
- Experience with scripting (Python or Bash) is a plus.
- Exposure to monitoring/logging tools like Prometheus or ELK stack.
- Basis AI knowledge and experience
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
