JOB DESCRIPTION

• JOB PURPOSE

Responsible for fulfilling end-to-end customer requirements for on-time delivery of the components for

4W/2W/non-auto.

• PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. RFQ stage Responsible for to validate the feasibility of the material required for the product along

with its cost in

order to submit to PM team

Get the RFQ from PM and submit the feasibility report and tentative cost for the product

Submit the findings to PM team

Development Stage

2. Identification of right supplier Responsible to evaluate the suppliers based on capability & on time delivery, cost

effectiveness and the technical recommendations to assist in identifying the right suppliers

Once the enquiry is received from PM, float the RFQ to suppliers,

evaluate the supplier based on capability, existing workload of supplier for on time delivery & cost

Create the comparison sheet, and technical recommendations based on the evaluation

Submit the documents to SCM & get the details of final supplier from SCM

Re -evaluate the selected supplier for time delivery and technical specs

3. Coordination for PO release

Once the supplier details are confirmed from SCM, get the M-code and PR from plant

Get the PO released from SCM

4. Development of component (Start, documentation) Coordination with the supplier from providing specifications to quality check through trials.

Communicate the supplier with documents such as mould spec sheet, CAD, drawing, and other technical details

Get the tool design and timelines from supplier

Review the tool design and give go ahead to supplier

Get the weekly update on schedule & the pictures of component in progress

Visit the supplier (frequency depends on criticality of timelines) and monitor the progress of development

Attend the trials (T0 T5) at supplier end

Respond to the customer queries and trouble - shooting of issues

Send the parts for inspection at CQA

Based on CQA feedback, optimize the product till T4

Get the documentation done from supplier and get it verified from SQA (related to PPAP, APQP, SPC,

GRR etc.)

Get the Part Submission Warrant signed off from SQA

5. Handover to plant Schedule the delivery calendar, obtain the sign off from suppliers, plant purchase & plant QA , Category.

Prepare the 3 months scheduling of part supply to plant and submit it to supplier

Monitor the scheduling and the handover of product is done to plant purchase

Get the handover document signed off by plant purchase ,plant QA , SQA and Category.

Get the sign off from PM for closure of requirement

- Gate closure as per PM plan.

6. Turnover discounts (ToD) from prime suppliers

Share the last year business done with the supplier, and ask for the ToD and get the ToD letter from supplier, forward it to finance for getting credit notes

• Escalation if any which impact on production or business
• Daily Morning meeting and update the required details
• Discussion with suppliers for routine activity
• Suppliers visit for development monitoring
• Present in Kick off meeting
• SIR activity along with R & D
• Planning of activities with plant for part follow up or else.
