Associate/ AM - Indirect Tax - Litigation/ Advisory

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Kochi for a qualified Chartered Accountant with extensive experience in Indirect Taxation compliance, litigation and advisory, along with exposure to direct taxation, audit and accounting.

The candidate will primarily support indirect tax litigation and advisory assignments, including analysing notices and orders, preparing replies, submissions and appeals, researching tax laws and judicial decisions, and supporting representation before tax authorities and appellate forums. Responsibilities also include reviewing and supervising GST filings, reconciliations and other compliance requirements, advising on tax implications of business transactions, and assisting clients during departmental audits and proceedings.

The role will also involve direct tax, audit and assurance engagements, accounting and financial reporting, and MCA and other statutory compliances.

The candidate should possess strong analytical, drafting and communication skills, with the ability to independently manage assignments, supervise team members and coordinate closely with partners and clients to ensure timely delivery. Knowledge of export-related tax matters would be an added advantage.
