About this role
Job Title: Ops Analyst/Associate (Tax) RESPONSIBILITIES
Data Analysis / Reconciliation
Deliver objective analysis of error trends and opportunities. -- identify root cause Resolve recon exceptions/discrepancies and document the resolution process Validate data integrity is maintained in client facing displays Assist the management team in developing metrics to show progress / completion of data analysis / reconciliation Ensure that the status reports produced are accurate, relevant, complete, and actionable
Process Improvements & Procedures
Assist the management team in improving metrics Analyze operational/technology processes for gaps, inefficiencies, potential redundancies and improvement opportunities Develop trending reports & standard benchmarks for metrics; providing guidelines for identifying issues
Project Work
A good understanding of Operations, Technology and Risk Support creation, modification and review of test plan and test summary documents Assist the management team in developing metrics that demonstrate the progress / completion of functionality testing Ability to multitask and take ownership of complex issues
REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge of W-8BEN, W-8BEN-E, and W9 tax documentation Knowledge of 1099 and 1042-S reporting Excellent written and communication, organization and time management skills Adaptable to dynamic work environments and priorities Demonstrate ownership and sense of urgency in resolving inquiries and issues Adaptable to dynamic work environments and priorities Proven effectiveness in fast-paced, demanding, client-driven environment.
