Assistant Vice President - Partnerships

The AVP Partnerships will work closely with the Business Head Insurance, internal business and distribution teams, technology, finance, operations, and customer service functions, along with partner insurer stakeholders, to ensure smooth execution across the complete insurance distribution lifecyclefrom product onboarding and API

integration to policy issuance, commission reconciliation, and claims coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day and strategic relationships with existing insurance partners across Life, General, and Health Insurance.

Act as the designated relationship interface for partner insurers and coordinate with their business, operations, technology, finance, and servicing teams.

Develop strong relationships with partner leadership, regional teams, product teams, and operational stakeholders.

Ensure timely resolution of partnership-related issues, escalations, and

operational bottlenecks.

Conduct periodic partner reviews to assess business performance, service quality, product suitability, and areas for improvement.

Maintain an effective partner governance mechanism, including review meetings, action trackers, and escalation processes.

Support the Business Head Insurance in identifying and onboarding new insurance partners based on business requirements, product portfolio, geography, and distribution opportunities.

Coordinate the partner onboarding process, including documentation, due diligence, commercial discussions, operational readiness, and internal approvals.

Support evaluation of partner capabilities across:

• Product portfolio and customer suitability
• Pricing and commercial competitiveness
• Technology and API readiness
• Policy issuance and service capabilities
• Claims servicing arrangements
• Geographic reach and distribution support
• Coordinate execution of agreements, onboarding documentation, and other formalities in collaboration with the relevant internal teams.
• Ensure partner launch readiness before products are made available to SAHAJ's distribution channels.

Expected outcome: A structured and scalable insurance partner ecosystem supporting SAHAJ's growth across selected geographies and distribution channels.
