Assistant Vice President - Client Integration (Yardi Onboarding)

Job Summary

The Real Assets Fund Services group is seeking an experienced candidate to join our Real Assets Client Onboarding team. This specialized team of professionals are subject matter experts on Real Assets investment management operations, as well as the processes & technologies that support those functions. The Assistant Vice President Client Onboarding will be responsible for participating in onboarding initiatives including fund structure and reporting setup on Citco systems, and the review, design and implementation of working processes to support delivery of new client engagements. This position will work closely with our Client Servicing and Operational Centre of Excellence teams to drive efficiencies within our global operating model. The Assistant Vice President must demonstrate leadership skills in coaching, motivating team members and dealing with clients and counterparts in other groups. The successful candidate will be expected to learn and develop expertise in all aspects of the on-boarding process, business process review and design, as well as participating in firm-wide.

Responsibilities

• Act as the liaison between Client staff and Accounting/Operations teams to on-board clients to Citco technology systems.
• Analysis, Design, Setup & testing of fund structures within Citco systems, including the automation of capital transaction processing, consolidations, eliminations, currency exchange, and returns calculations.
• Coordinate with all relevant teams to ensure internal workflows will meet client needs and regulatory controls.
• Coordinate with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure all necessary data is captured and migrated for client reporting and calculation models.
• Provide Yardi support and best practice guidance to Accounting/Operations.
• Contribute to on-going discussions on operational process and best practices; document and implement process improvements.
• Contribute to global standardization, operational efficiency and offshoring initiatives.
• Maintain a pro-active customer focus at all times.
• Participate in process and system enhancement projects as required.
• Team Management:
  • Review the work of team members and provide feedback for improvement in order to guarantee timely delivery and quality of work.
  • Plan resources in line with business demands, lead, coach, and develop within the team.
  • Establish plan for new acquisition set up and transitions.
  • Keep Senior Management abreast of all material issues affecting the processing of deliverables.
  • Implement training and coaching initiatives.

Requirements

• Candidates must have a minimum of a bachelor's degree in one of the following or related fields: Accounting, Finance, Information Systems; CPA or CFA preferred.
• 5+ years real estate and/or private equity experience.
• Strong analytical and integration experience involving complex data sets.
• Strong excel skills essential.
• Public/private accounting experience, predominantly in the real estate & alternative investment sectors preferred.
• Experience working in multiple jurisdictions preferred.
• Yardi Investment Management module experience beneficial.
• Knowledge and experience in other real estate accounting systems beneficial.
• Experience in either systems implementation or project management beneficial.
• Experience in business process design and optimisation essential.
• Experience in programme or project management beneficial.
• Strong team player who exhibits excellent communication and written skills.
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability of work product.
• Team management experience.
