Assistant Store Manager/ Store Manager: Delhi/ NCR

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Business Performance

• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets and business objectives.
• Drive store revenue, profitability, conversion, ATV, UPT, and other key retail KPIs.
• Analyse sales performance and implement action plans to improve productivity.
• Drive promotions, new launches, and brand initiatives at the store level.
• Monitor competitor activity and market trends.

2. Store Operations

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the store.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, SOPs, and operational standards.
• Maintain high standards of visual merchandising, store presentation, and hygiene.
• Monitor stock availability, replenishment, stock transfers, and inventory accuracy.
• Minimise stock loss, damages, and shrinkage.
• Ensure compliance with security, safety, and audit requirements.

3. Customer Experience

• Deliver an excellent and consistent customer experience.
• Handle customer queries, complaints, and escalations professionally.
• Ensure the team follows customer-service and selling standards.
• Build strong customer relationships and encourage repeat business.
• Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements.

4. Team Management

• Lead, motivate, and develop the store team.
• Manage manpower planning, staffing, attendance, and rosters.
• Set individual targets and monitor employee performance.
• Conduct regular team briefings and performance reviews.
• Identify training and development requirements.
• Coach team members on product knowledge, selling skills, and customer engagement.
• Maintain discipline and a positive working environment.

5. Inventory Management

• Ensure accurate stock management and regular stock checks.
• Monitor stock ageing, slow-moving products, and stock availability.
• Coordinate stock replenishment with relevant teams.
• Conduct periodic stock audits and ensure discrepancies are investigated and resolved.

6. Reporting & Compliance

• Prepare and share daily, weekly, and monthly sales and operational reports.
• Track store KPIs and provide performance updates to management.
• Ensure all statutory, company, and brand compliance requirements are followed.
• Support internal and external audits.
