Assistant Sales Manager

About the Role

Magnum Resources, part of the Sara Group s Industrial Automation vertical, is looking for an Assistant Sales Manager to grow business for our textile machinery range. The role is based in West India and covers a territory spanning West, Central and North India. You will work directly with garment dyeing, washing, denim, laundry and textile finishing units a field-facing technical sales role for someone equally comfortable on the shop floor and across the table from a factory owner.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new customers and business opportunities for our machine range.
• Engage with garment dyeing, washing, denim, laundry and textile finishing units.
• Conduct technical presentations, customer visits and machine trials.
• Manage the sales pipeline leads, quotations and follow-ups.
• Coordinate with technical teams on trials and proposals.
• Build strong relationships across owner, production, technical and purchase teams.
• Track market trends and identify new business opportunities.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 3-5 years of experience in sales and business development.
• B2B or technical sales experience preferred.
• B.Tech / B.E., Diploma or Graduate in Textile, Chemical, Mechanical or a related field.
• Willingness to travel regularly across the West, Central and North India territory.
• Strong presentation, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work with technical teams to translate customer requirements into workable proposals.
