Assistant Sales Manager

Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Assistant Sales Manager to drive business growth across Gujarat. The role involves developing new customers, managing key accounts, achieving sales targets, and expanding our presence in the packaging and converting industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive sales and achieve assigned targets across Gujarat.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities through cold calling, networking and market visits.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Conduct customer visits, understand requirements and present suitable machinery solutions.
• Demonstrate product features, technical benefits and value propositions.
• Generate leads, follow up on enquiries and convert prospects into customers.
• Participate in exhibitions, product demonstrations and industry events.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
• Maintain regular sales reports, customer visit reports and CRM updates.
• Coordinate with internal technical and sales teams for smooth execution.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree /Diploma in Printing Engineering, Business or a related field; MBA preferred.
• 610 years of B2B / Industrial / Printing and Packaging Machinery Sales experience.
• Experience in Packaging, Printing, Paper,or Capital Equipment will be preferred.
• Strong sales, negotiation, communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
• Strong customer network in Gujarat / West India will be an added advantage.
• Willingness to travel extensively across Gujarat.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
