Assistant Sales Manager- Retail

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and implement retail and channel sales strategies to achieve business targets.
  
• Identify, onboard, and nurture new dealers, distributors, and retail partners.
  
• Strengthen relationships with existing channel partners and ensure target achievement.
  
• Collaborate with marketing to execute promotional plans and campaigns.
  
• Monitor partner performance, sales pipeline, and market expansion opportunities.
  
• Manage incentive programs, schemes, and sales drives to boost engagement.
  
• Provide regular business insights and feedback to management for strategic decisions.

Preferred candidate profile

• Background in building materials, hardware, Furniture, Plywood, Laminates, Adhesives, sanitary ware, or allied industries preferred.
  
• Proven ability in dealer appointment, Carpenter Visit, market development, and team coordination.
  
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  
• Willingness to travel within assigned territory and handle field responsibilities independently.
