Assistant Sales Manager (ASM) & Sales Officer

Job Responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets and business objectives for the assigned territory.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors, dealers, retailers and key customers.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand market coverage.
• Ensure effective product availability and visibility across the assigned territory.
• Manage and support the distributor/dealer network.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer requirements.
• Conduct regular market visits and provide timely sales reports.
• Implement company sales strategies and promotional activities.
• For ASM: Lead, guide and monitor the sales team to achieve territory targets.

Preferred candidate profile

• Graduate in any discipline; MBA/PGDM in Marketing/Sales will be an added advantage.
• 110 years of relevant experience in FMCG / Ice Cream / Food & Beverage / Consumer Products.
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Good knowledge of the assigned market and distributor network.
• Target-oriented with a strong focus on business development.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
• Valid two-wheeler driving licence is preferred.
