Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic, service-oriented, and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the Restaurant Manager in the smooth and efficient functioning of restaurant operations. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of guest service, supervising restaurant staff, ensuring operational efficiency, and delivering an exceptional dining experience to guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Restaurant Manager in managing the day-to-day restaurant operations.
• Ensure excellent guest service and maintain high standards of hospitality.
• Supervise, train, and motivate restaurant staff to achieve service excellence.
• Ensure proper restaurant setup, mise-en-place, table management, and service standards.
• Handle guest complaints, feedback, and special requests professionally.
• Monitor food and beverage service quality, presentation, and service timings.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and other departments for smooth operations.
• Monitor inventory, operating supplies, and beverage stock to minimize wastage.
• Ensure adherence to hygiene, sanitation, grooming, and safety standards.
• Monitor staff attendance, duty rosters, and departmental discipline.
• Assist in achieving revenue targets, controlling operational costs, and maximizing guest satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, standard operating procedures, and brand standards.

Candidate Profile

• Qualification: Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management or a related field.

• Experience: 35 years of relevant experience in restaurant operations, preferably in a reputed hotel or fine-dining establishment.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards and restaurant operations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and guest-handling skills.
• Good leadership, team management, and problem-solving abilities.
• Customer-focused approach with attention to detail.
• Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
