Assistant R&D Engineer

Job Responsibilities

Conduct laboratory testing of recycled plastics and compounds, including MFI/MFR, density, moisture, ash, tensile, impact, hardness, color, and thermal properties.

Prepare samples, maintain testing records, and prepare test/R&D reports.

Support FTIR, DSC, TGA and other polymer characterization activities. Compare recycled material properties with specifications and virgin polymer benchmarks.

Support laboratory-scale recycling, compounding and extrusion trials. Maintain laboratory equipment, calibration records, SOPs and safety practices.

Coordinate with Production and Quality teams for material testing and validation.

Requirements

Hands-on experience in plastics, recycled materials, compounding or extrusion.

Strong understanding of polymer science and material testing.

Experience with laboratory testing and polymer characterization techniques.

Practical, detail-oriented and comfortable working with lab equipment and test data.
