About this role
- Implement and maintain the Quality Management System as per GMP and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Manage SOPs, specifications, formats, protocols, reports, and controlled documents.
- Handle Deviation, CAPA, Change Control, OOS/OOT, Market Complaints, and Quality Risk Management activities.
- Review and ensure timely closure of quality investigations and CAPAs.
- Conduct internal audits and support regulatory/customer audits and inspections.
- Ensure compliance with ALCOA+ and data integrity requirements.
- Monitor QMS trends and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Conduct GMP and quality awareness training for employees.
- Prepare and review quality-related reports and MIS.
- Monitor manufacturing and packing activities to ensure compliance with approved procedures and GMP requirements.
- Perform line clearance, in-process checks, dispensing verification, and batch documentation review.
- Verify critical process parameters and ensure adherence to approved manufacturing procedures.
- Review and verify BMR/BPR and other batch-related documentation.
- Identify and report process deviations and ensure appropriate corrective actions.
- Monitor housekeeping, hygiene, personnel practices, and GMP compliance on the shop floor.
- Coordinate with Production, QC, Warehouse, Engineering, and R&D for resolution of quality issues.
- Support investigation of process-related failures and recurring quality issues.
- Ensure proper status identification and control of raw materials, packaging materials, intermediates, and finished products.
