Assistant Purchase Manager

Role & responsibilities:

• Manage procurement of F&B, housekeeping, operating supplies, engineering materials, guest amenities and general supplies.
• Develop, evaluate and manage vendors; negotiate competitive rates, contracts and payment terms.
• Identify cost-saving and standardisation opportunities across properties.
• Implement and monitor purchase policies, approval processes, quotation/PO procedures and audit controls.
• Coordinate with GMs, chefs, stores, finance and other departments to ensure uninterrupted supplies.
• Monitor vendor performance, quality, pricing and delivery timelines.
• Support CAPEX procurement, renovations and new-property requirements.
• Maintain accurate vendor/item records and prepare regular MIS, spend and savings reports.
• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, FSSAI and other applicable statutory requirements.
• Travel to properties as required to resolve procurement and supply-related issues.

Preferred candidate profile:

• 58 years of procurement experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of hotel purchasing categories, especially F&B and perishables.
• Proven negotiation, vendor management and cost-control skills.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel, procurement systems and MIS reporting.
• Strong understanding of purchase processes, controls and statutory compliance.
• Willingness to travel regularly to Sinclairs properties, including remote location
