Assistant Project Lead - Services Engineer - Mechnical

Key Role Responsibilities

• Site Execution: Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical components at project sites.
• System Maintenance: Oversee preventive and breakdown maintenance of construction plant equipment, hoists, or installed HVAC/pumping systems.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose critical mechanical faults on-site to reduce operational downtime.
• Team Leadership: Mentor junior site engineers and coordinate with civil or electrical teams.
• Compliance Reporting: Ensure adherence to safety norms (ASHRAE, NBC, or OSHA standards) and sign off on service/inspection logs.

Core Skills Needed

• Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of hydraulics, rotating equipment, or HVAC design.
• Software Literacy: Familiarity with AutoCAD, Navisworks, or Revit MEP for drawing reviews.
• Management: Strong vendor coordination, spare parts management, and client communication.

Qualifications

• Qualification - Bachelors degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• Years of Experience - 8-10 Years in mixed use project, hotel, retail commercial projects
