Assistant Project Engineer

Touch Stone Infrastructure is looking for enthusiastic and motivated fresher candidates for the position of Assistant Project Engineer. The candidate will assist the project team in executing civil engineering works, monitoring site activities, coordinating with contractors, and ensuring that construction work is carried out according to project specifications and quality standards.

Candidates must have an educational background in Civil Engineering and be willing to work at various project sites across Chennai.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Engineer in planning, executing, and monitoring civil construction activities.
• Supervise day-to-day site activities and ensure work progresses as per the project schedule.
• Monitor construction work to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, supervisors, and site workers.
• Assist in checking construction materials and ensuring proper utilisation at the site.
• Read and understand civil engineering drawings and basic construction plans.
• Maintain daily site progress reports, measurements, and project documentation.
• Support quality inspections and ensure compliance with safety procedures at the construction site.
• Report site progress, technical issues, and delays to the Project Engineer.
• Travel to different project locations across Chennai as required.

Educational Qualification

• B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering, OR
• Diploma in Civil Engineering

Candidates from other educational backgrounds will not be considered.

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of civil construction and site execution.
• Ability to read and understand civil engineering drawings.
• Basic knowledge of construction materials, measurements, and quality control.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Willingness to learn and work at construction sites.
• Basic computer knowledge and documentation skills.
• Positive attitude, discipline, and a willingness to take responsibility.

Eligibility Criteria

• Freshers with 0 years of experience are eligible to apply.
• Must hold a B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Must be willing to work at various project sites across Chennai.
• Must be comfortable with site-based work and field supervision.
• Candidates should be ready to join as per the company's requirements.
