About this role
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct lectures, studio classes, practical sessions, workshops, and design juries.
- Teach subjects related to Interior Design, Space Planning, Interior Construction, Materials & Finishes, Furniture Design, Lighting, Building Services, and Design Fundamentals.
- Guide and mentor students in academic projects, design assignments, portfolios, internships, and graduation projects.
- Prepare course plans, teaching materials, assignments, question papers, and assessment methodologies.
- Evaluate student work and provide constructive feedback.
- Participate in curriculum development and academic planning.
- Organize workshops, seminars, exhibitions, guest lectures, industry visits, and design competitions.
- Encourage industry-oriented and sustainable design practices.
- Undertake research, publications, consultancy, and other scholarly activities.
- Maintain academic records and participate in departmental/university activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design / Interior Architecture / B.Arch / Design or a related discipline.
- Master's degree in Interior Design / Interior Architecture / M.Des / M.Arch / Design or relevant discipline.
- Ph.D. in Design/Interior Design/Architecture will be an added advantage..
