Guru Kashi University is inviting applications for the position of Assistant Professor in Hotel Management. The ideal candidate should possess strong academic knowledge, relevant industry exposure, and a passion for teaching. The candidate will be responsible for delivering quality education, conducting practical training, mentoring students, and contributing to research, curriculum enhancement, and departmental development.

Ph.D. in Hotel Management or a relevant discipline is mandatory as per UGC/University norms. Candidates should have an excellent academic background with a commitment to teaching, research, and academic excellence.

• Deliver high-quality teaching in Hotel Management at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
• Conduct practical sessions in Food Production, Food Beverage Service, Housekeeping, and Front Office Operations.
• Develop, review, and update curriculum, practical modules, and course content as per industry standards.
• Guide students in internships, industrial training, research projects, and career development.
• Promote research activities and publish scholarly work in reputed journals.
• Organize workshops, seminars, guest lectures, hospitality events, and FDPs.
• Build strong collaborations with hospitality industries for training and placements.
• Participate in accreditation, quality assurance, and departmental administrative activities.
• Mentor students to develop professional ethics, communication, and hospitality skills.
• Undertake academic and administrative responsibilities assigned by the university from time to time.
• Contribute to the overall academic and institutional development of the university.
