Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Assistant Professor – General Surgery to join our medical college and teaching hospital. The candidate will be responsible for undergraduate/postgraduate teaching, clinical services, surgical procedures, academic activities, and patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.
• Provide clinical and surgical services to patients.
• Perform surgical procedures as per expertise and institutional protocols.
• Participate in emergency and on-call duties.
• Conduct ward rounds, OPD consultations, and pre/post-operative care.
• Participate in academic meetings, seminars, case discussions, and CMEs.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records.
• Participate in research and departmental academic activities.
• Ensure compliance with NMC and institutional guidelines.

Eligibility:

• MBBS from an NMC-recognized institution.
• MS/DNB in General Surgery from a recognized institution.
• Valid medical registration.
• Teaching/clinical experience as per applicable NMC norms preferred.
