Job Description - Assistant Professor (Computer Science)

Location - Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh

Qualification Required

• M.Tech in Computer Science or a related discipline from a recognised institution.
• PhD in the relevant field will be preferred in accordance with applicable academic norms.

Experience

• Minimum 1-5 years of teaching experience at a reputed college, university, or higher educational institution.
• Experience in academic administration, curriculum development, research guidance, and student mentoring will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching in Computer Science and related subjects.
• Develop and update course curriculum in line with industry and academic standards.
• Guide undergraduate and postgraduate students in projects, research, and dissertations.
• Promote research activities, publications, and academic excellence within the department.
• Participate in departmental planning, accreditation activities, and academic committees.
• Mentor faculty members and contribute to institutional development initiatives.

Required Skills

• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Sound knowledge of current trends and emerging technologies in Computer Science.
• Ability to engage and inspire students through innovative teaching methodologies.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
