Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager – Production to oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensure production targets are achieved, and maintain quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, organise, and supervise daily production activities.
• Ensure production targets are achieved as per the production plan.
• Monitor machine performance, productivity, and operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with maintenance, quality control, stores, and dispatch teams.
• Ensure product quality and adherence to manufacturing standards.
• Monitor raw material consumption, production losses, and wastage.
• Implement measures to improve productivity and reduce operational costs.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety procedures.
• Manage production staff, assign responsibilities, and monitor performance.
• Prepare daily production reports and submit updates to management.

Requirements:

• 5–8 years of experience in production or manufacturing operations.
• Experience in steel manufacturing or metal processing is preferred.
• Diploma or bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong production planning and team management skills.
• Knowledge of quality control, machine operations, and safety procedures.
• Good problem-solving and coordination abilities.
