Assistant Procurement Manager

Role & responsibilities :

There are two roles:-

Vendor Development & Contracting (Raw Materials)

Vendor Development & Contracting (Packaging Materials)

To develop and manage a competitive, resilient, and compliant raw material supplier network by driving vendor identification, qualification, commercial contracting, risk mitigation, and cost competitiveness initiatives. The role is responsible for strengthening the supply base, enabling innovation, ensuring continuity of supply, and supporting procurement strategies across key raw material categories

To identify, develop, onboard, and manage packaging material suppliers while driving commercial contracting, supply assurance, cost optimization, quality compliance, and capacity creation. The incumbent will play a key role in building a robust supplier ecosystem that supports business growth, innovation, competitiveness, and risk mitigation across packaging material categories.

Preferred candidate profile :

1. B.E./B.Tech in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, or related Engineering disciplines.
2. MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations, or Finance preferred.
3. 4-9 years of experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Vendor Development.
4. Experience in Raw materials procurement / Packaging material procurement within FMCG, Personal Care, Home Care, Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals, or related industries.
5. Strong exposure to supplier negotiations, commercial contracting, and vendor qualification processes.
