About DBS Institutional Banking Group (IBG) Operations DBS Institutional Banking Group (IBG) Operations acts as a center of excellence, supporting the Institutional Banking Group in delivering products and services to large corporations, financial institutions, investment managers, and small to medium-sized enterprises.  It also provides operations support to businesses in various locations, including Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Indonesia, and India.  IBG Operations plays a crucial role in supporting diverse banking needs, including corporate loans, fee management, and various account services.  The Corporate Account Services (CAS) team within IBG serves as a critical checker for all onboarding and account maintenance activities for corporate clients.

Job Purpose As an Assistant Officer in IBG Current Account Services, you will be an integral part of the team responsible for ensuring efficient and accurate processing and management of current accounts for our institutional clients.

Key Responsibilities: Account Maintenance and Processing: Performing various account maintenance activities

Account Opening and Closure Support: Assisting with the account opening workflow, including verifying documents and ensuring compliance with established procedures, and supporting account closure processes by conducting preliminary checks and coordinating with various operations units for necessary approvals. 

Static Data Management: Handling static data change requests for current accounts, working closely with branch operations and central operations teams

Operational Efficiency: Contributing to the continuous improvement of operational processes to enhance efficiency and turnaround time.

Minimum Requirements Education: Graduate degree in any discipline.

Technical Skills: Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Language: Fluent in English, both written and verbal.

Other Skills: Strong attention to detail, good analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in banking operations or customer service is a plus.
