Assistant Manager

Reports To: Manager HR / Head HR

Job Purpose

To ensure statutory compliance with labour laws and social security regulations, manage end-to-end contract labour administration, oversee time office operations, and support payroll, employee benefits and government compliance activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Statutory compliance management, factory licence renewals, returns filing and audit coordination.
• End-to-end contract labour management including contractor compliance, attendance and billing verification.
• Time office administration, attendance management and payroll inputs.
• PF, ESIC, PT, LWF, insurance and social security administration.
• Government liaison with EPFO, ESIC, Factory and Labour Departments.
• Employee documentation, SAP/LAMS data management, NATS/NAPS support.
• HR MIS, manpower reports and compliance dashboards.

Key Performance Indicators

100% statutory filings on time; 100% contractor compliance verification; 99.5% attendance & payroll accuracy; zero major statutory non-compliance observations; timely insurance and social security claim processing.

Qualifications & Experience

Graduate in HR/Business Administration. MBA (HR), MSW or PG Diploma in Labour Laws preferred.

5-8 years of manufacturing HR experience in statutory compliance and contract labour management.
