About this role
Ocean Import Operations
- Manage FCL/LCL import shipments from pre-arrival to final delivery and closure.
- Coordinate with shipping lines, NVOCCs, CFS/ICDs, CHAs, transporters, and overseas agents.
- Track vessel schedules, cargo availability, shipment milestones, and delivery timelines.
- Ensure timely shipment updates and adherence to customer
SOPs and SLAs. Documentation Customs
- Verify BLs, invoices, packing lists, and other import documentation.
- Coordinate documentation amendments, customs clearance, and Delivery Order processing.
- Ensure compliance with customs, port, and company requirements.
Vendor Customer Coordination
- Follow up with shipping lines and vendors for cargo release and timely delivery.
- Resolve routine shipment issues and escalate critical exceptions.
- Provide timely shipment updates and address customer queries. Reporting Compliance
- Maintain shipment trackers, operational MIS, and accurate shipment records.
- Monitor turnaround times, pending activities, and documentation accuracy.
- Coordinate billing inputs and ensure timely shipment closure
