Assistant Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Manage inventory levels, track stock movements, and perform regular reconciliations to ensure accuracy in all the Depots
• Oversee warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping products.
• Manage inventory levels, stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO), and warehousing operations across all 8 depots in Goa to ensure 100% stock accuracy.
• Coordinate logistics operations with suppliers and customers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Collaborate with the plant teams to analyze historical data and seasonal trends for accurate demand planning .
• Conduct regular cycle counts, physical stock audits, and root-cause analysis for any inventory variances, shrinkages, or damages.
• Ensure all depots adhere to safety guidelines, fire safety norms, statutory compliance, and warehouse standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Lead, mentor, and evaluate depot supervisors, warehouse staff, and logistics coordinators across all 8 locations.
• Publish daily, weekly, and monthly reports on Inventory Holding, Depots KPIs, Logistics Costs, OTIF (On-Time In-Full) delivery metrics, and Damaged/Expired Stock.
