Assistant Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION

Designation: Assistant Manager
Department: Machine shop


Responsibilities:

• Manage Day to day machine shop operation to achieve production target.
• Plan and monitor production schedule based on customer requirement.
• Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machine, tools and resources.
• Monitor Production output, cycle time, productivity and rejection levels.
• Coordinate with PPC, Quality, Maintenance, and store Department.
• CNC Machining and technical expertise.
• Oversees CNC Machine operation, including CNC turning and machining processes.
• Ensure Appropriate machine setting, tooling, fixture and cutting parameters.
• Troubleshooting machining problem and minimize machine downtime.
• Support CNC Programming and process optimization.
• Drive cycle-time reduction and productivity improvement initiatives.

Quality Management:

• Ensure compliances with product specification and quality standard.
• Reduce rejection, rework, and customer compliance through corrective actions.
• Improve root cause analysis and corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate with the quality department to maintain process control.
• Support implementation of IATF 16949 requirement and relevant quality procedure.
• Maintenance & Machine Availability
• Coordinate with the maintenance department to improve machine availability.
• Monitor preventive and predictive maintenance activity.
• Analyze recurring breakdown and implement corrective measures.
• Improve overall equipment effectiveness(OEE)

Manpower management:

• Allocate manpower according to production requirement.
• Monitor operator performance, attendance, and productivity.
• Train and develop team member in machining process, quality, and safety.

Required technical skill:

• Strong Knowledge of CNC Turning and machining operation.
• Understand of CNC Programming and troubleshooting.
• Good Problem solving and team management skill.
• Knowledge of quality system and continuous support.

Salary: As per experience and Industry standard
Qualification: BE/Diploma in mechanical
Experience: 6-8 Years experience in automobile Industry
