Assistant Manager

Key responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Supervise and lead a team, providing guidance, support, and direction to achieve team goals and individual performance targets
• Performance Management: Monitor and evaluate the performance of team members, providing feedback, coaching, and conducting performance appraisals
• Project Management: Oversee and contribute to projects, ensuring timely completion, effective resource utilization, and adherence to quality standards
• Client and Stakeholder Interaction: Act as a main point of contact for clients and other stakeholders, addressing their needs, managing expectations, and ensuring overall satisfaction
• Operational Efficiency: Streamline and improve operational processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize resource utilization
• Decision-Making: Contribute to strategic decision-making by providing insights, data analysis, and recommendations to management
• Conflict Resolution: Manage conflicts within the team or between team members, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment
• Training and Development: Identify training needs, mentor team members, and facilitate their professional development to enhance skills and competencies
• Reporting and Analysis: Compile and analyze data to generate reports on team performance, project status, and other key metrics, providing insights for decision-making
• Communication: Maintain clear and open communication channels within the team and with other departments, ensuring everyone is aligned with organizational goals
• Policy Adherence: Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and industry regulations, fostering a compliant and ethical work environment
• Innovation and Improvement: Encourage a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and adaptation to changes in the industry or market
• Continuous Improvement and Risk Management: Identifying critical process risks, promptly communicating findings to stakeholders, and implementing comprehensive solutions across the board have consistently resulted in positive outcomes
• Client management is a critical aspect, requiring high-level communication skills complemented by data- driven analysis, detailed documentation, strategic thinking, and a commitment to continuous improvement

Key Requirements

• A bachelors degree is required
• Must be adaptable to different shifts and workdays as per process requirements
• Must have experience managing 2+ Leaders and 50+ indirect reportees with minimum supervision.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary to manage daily interactions effectively.
• Along with good process knowledge, analytical abilities, and presentation skills
• Maintains a positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to contribute to a vibrant and diverse culture
• Demonstrate a zeal to learn new skill sets and capabilities, along with the ability to manage difficult situations with ease. Solutions-oriented and accountable mindset
• Participation in taking on additional responsibilities from managers/clients will be an added advantage
