Assistant Manager

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Manage the development, implementation, and maintenance of demand planning processes to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Responsible for leading Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) activities for domestic and export markets at Kia India, acting as the critical link between Sales, Plant/Manufacturing, and Materials functions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes that drive efficiency gains.
• Coordinates weekly demand-supply alignment with Sales, monitors material constraints, and drives production priority and plant scheduling decisions to ensure firm order and dispatch adherence.
  
• Analyze data to inform strategic decisions on inventory management, production planning, and logistics operations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the organization to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

Job Requirements :

• Experience: 8-12 years of experience in demand planning or a related field (e.g., supply chain management).
• Education Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering OR MBA / PGDM in Operations or Supply Chain Management (preferred).
  
• Strong understanding of cross functional coordination principles and ability to work effectively across multiple departments.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel or specialized software (e.g., SAP).
• Experience with process management methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma) is an asset.
