Assistant Manager

Role & Responsibilities

• Conduct customer visits for quality analysis and root cause investigation of critical quality issues.
• Perform RCA using 8D and other quality tools and ensure effective corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Service and Dealers for customer complaint resolution and quality improvement.
• Monitor field service records and identify recurring product quality issues.
• Act as a communication bridge between QA and field/service teams and provide field quality inputs.
• Conduct joint audits with Service to verify the effectiveness of implemented improvements.
• Ensure Dealer Pre-Dispatch Inspection (PDI) compliance.
• Prioritize safety- and quality-critical issues and drive timely resolution.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives such as Kaizen, Business Excellence and IMS compliance.
• Undertake frequent travel across Gujarat and North India as required.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 2+ years of relevant experience, or Diploma in Engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in Material Handling Equipment, Construction Equipment or Earth Moving Equipment industry preferred.
• Automobile (4-wheeler) experience may be considered as a last preference.
• Strong hands-on experience in Customer Quality, Field Quality, QA/QC and Root Cause Analysis.
• Knowledge of 8D, quality tools, audits, CAPA and continuous improvement practices.
• Good understanding of hydraulics, engines, transmission systems and electrical components such as controller, motor and battery.
• Strong customer-facing, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Candidates should demonstrate stable career history, preferably with an average tenure of 2+ years per organization.
• Minimum 50% in academics and full-time educational qualifications are required.
• Current CTC should preferably be up to 9 LPA and candidate should be comfortable with frequent travel.
