About the Role

As Assistant Manager - Finance & Accounts, you will play a key role in keeping Refyne's financial engine running accurately and efficiently.

Working closely with our finance leadership, you will oversee month-end accounting, streamline loan book reconciliations, and ensure our statutory reporting stays fully aligned with NBFC and IND AS standards. It's a hands-on role where your focus on clean books and clear processes directly supports the platform's growth.

We are looking for a thoughtful finance professional who enjoys structured problem-solving, values accounting precision, and wants to build a strong foundation in FinTech finance.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Manage end-to-end month-end closing procedures, overseeing fixed assets, prepaid assets, accruals, and account reconciliations.
• Prepare accurate monthly financial statements and management information systems (MIS) reports for leadership.
• Coordinate smoothly with internal and external auditors for IFC, statutory audits, and tax audits.
• Oversee TDS/TCS payments and file quarterly statutory returns on time.
• Handle comprehensive GST compliance, including GSTR-3B filings, annual returns, and detailed 2B reconciliations.
• Perform detailed monthly reconciliations between the Loan Management System (LMS) and accounting books, ensuring accurate income accruals and IND AS 109 compliance.
• Reconcile related-party transactions and manage borrowing MIS pipelines directly with the treasury desk.
• File vital RBI returns including ALM (DNBS-4A) and DNBS-02, support DNBS-10 certification, and align processes with mid-layer NBFC mandates.
• Support systemic implementation across IND AS standards (IND AS 109, 115, 116) and assist with debt listing initiatives.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification (1+ years of experience/ Freshers with strong articleship experience).
• Deep working knowledge of core accounting principles, IND AS standards (specifically IND AS 109, 115, and 116), and financial statement preparation.
• Practical experience in tax and GST compliance, including GSTR-3B filings, quarterly TDS/TCS returns, and 2B reconciliations.
• Strong foundation in audit management, month-end closures, fixed assets, and accruals.
• Analytical mindset with hands-on proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software/ERPs.
• Exposure to NBFC compliance, RBI returns (such as DNBS filings), or loan management system (LMS) reconciliations during articleship is a strong plus.
• Excellent communication skills with the drive to take ownership in a fast-paced fintech environment.
