Location: Vikhroli, Mumbai

Travel Requirement: Pan-India travel for fund collection

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager Accounts with 10+ years of relevant experience in accounting operations, invoicing, sales-related entries, and fund collection. The candidate should be comfortable with extensive Pan-India travel for payment and fund collection activities and should be capable of independently handling accounting and collection-related responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting activities, including sales entries, invoicing, receipts, and payment-related transactions.
• Prepare and process customer invoices accurately and ensure timely submission to clients.
• Maintain proper records of sales transactions, outstanding payments, and customer accounts.
• Follow up with customers for outstanding payments and coordinate for fund collection.
• Travel Pan India for direct payment/fund collection from customers as required.
• Maintain and regularly update the accounts receivable and outstanding collection reports.
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies related to invoices, payments, and collections.
• Coordinate with the sales and commercial teams regarding billing, collections, and customer accounts.
• Prepare MIS reports related to sales, invoicing, receivables, and fund collection.
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of invoices, receipts, collection records, and other accounting documents.
• Assist the Accounts Manager/Finance Head in routine accounting and financial activities.
• Ensure timely and accurate entry of transactions in accounting software/ERP.
• Support audits and provide required financial documents and information.
• Monitor overdue accounts and take necessary follow-up actions for timely recovery.

Candidate Profile

• 10+ years of experience in Accounts/Finance, preferably with strong exposure to invoicing, sales accounting, and collections.
• Strong knowledge of sales entries, invoicing, accounts receivable, reconciliation, and fund collection.
• Should have experience dealing directly with customers for payment follow-ups and collections.
• Must be willing and comfortable to travel Pan India for fund collection.
• Good communication, negotiation, follow-up, and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP software.
• Ability to independently manage responsibilities and meet collection timelines.
• Candidates based in or willing to commute to Vikhroli, Mumbai will be preferred.
