Assistant Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Oversee and manage end-to-end accounting functions, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Fixed Asset Management.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements pertaining to Direct and Indirect Taxes.
• Lead the preparation and finalization of financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards, including Ind AS.
• Coordinate effectively with internal and statutory auditors during audits and reviews.
• Prepare and present periodic MIS reports and project reports for management review.
• Develop and monitor Budgets vs. Actual performance, including detailed variance analysis on a periodic basis.
• Prepare and file monthly GSTR returns and related statutory filings.
• Preparation of advance tax computations and support tax assessment.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards, direct and indirect tax regulations.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills with the ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality outputs.
• Strong proficiency in English communication (both written and verbal), along with advanced computer skills, particularly in MS Excel.
