Assistant Manager

This position is responsible for delivering all facets of recruiting success throughout the organization. This will be achieved through developing a robust recruiting plan, employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas. The Recruiter will play a critical role in ensuring we are hiring the best possible talent.

• Develop and execute recruiting plans.
• Work closely with Hiring Managers to develop position profile and understand overall needs and requirements.
• Create a comprehensive job description based on hiring manager specifications to be used to present to candidates and to post to job boards and internal gateways.
• Educate client on the recruiting process and effectively utilize the available resources for the quick and timely closure of open positions.
• Lead the creation of a recruiting and interviewing plan for each open position.
• Develop and manage strong consultative relationships with hiring managers and candidates.
• Adherence to the process as per ISMS standards, solicit and document hiring manager and candidate feedback throughout the interview process.
• Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.
• Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
• Publish weekly/fortnightly/monthly recruitment reports.
• Optimize the online forums for recruitment.
• Post positions to appropriate Internet sources including job portals.
• Improve the company website recruiting page to assist in recruiting.
• Use social and professional networking sites to identify and source candidates.
• Network through industry contacts, association memberships, online forums and employees.
• Locate and document where to find ideal candidates.
• Communicate with managers and employees regularly to establish rapport, gauge morale, and source new candidate leads.
• Coordinate and implement campus recruiting initiatives.
• Administrative duties and HRIS.
• Conduct prescreening interviews and online assessment.
• Maintain all pertinent applicant and interview data in the HRIS.
• Assist in performing reference and background checks for potential employees.
• Assist in preparing and sending offer letters.
• Assist in preparing and sending new employee orientation packages.
• Perform other special projects as assigned.

• Bachelor Equivalent - Other
• Master of Management Science

Must have 0-5 years of recruiting experience preferably in IT services organizations and in multiple recruiting environments with a wide variety of job disciplines. Must be available to work a flexible work schedule (at times weekends may be required).
