Designation: Assistant Manager_WTEI

Office Location: Pune

Position description: Plan and conduct independent work, review and check drawings/documents, evaluate and prepare electrical drawings, specifications, calculations, and cable schedules. Ensure compliance with codes and standards during proposals and project execution. Prepare/check MTOs, provide electrical input for 3D modeling, and support site queries.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Prepare documents in line with contract requirement.

2. Requires a broad knowledge of the application of engineering to plant constructability as applied to construction methods and materials, and the economics involved.

3. Performs assignment independently with instruction as to the general results expected and with guidance from Functional Head and / or engineering specialist

4. Ensure closure of all Technical Queries Request (TQR), Design Change Request (DCR), Quality Assurance Plan / Check list (E-QAP) w.r.t. Electrical engineering

5. Deliver high quality, accurate, output as per project guidelines (including evaluation, selection, application and adaption of electrical engineering techniques, procedures and criteria)

Additional Responsibilities:

1. May require to support site activities / resolve site related queries

2. Plan, schedule, conduct and coordinate assigned engineering work and projects

3. Ensure proper interdisciplinary coordination and effective communication on projects.

Educational qualifications preferred

Required work experience

Required Competencies:

Technical-

1. Layout review for optimization cross-discipline value engineering.

2. Knowledge of electrical panels and basic knowledge related to PLC / Control panel Motors electrical equipments

3. Knowledge of electrical relevant standards of ISO/IEC, IEEE, NEMA etc.

4. Technical domain knowledge; expertise to design electrical LV HV distribution system. Preparation of SLD, Cable Schedule and Erection MTO. Knowledge of PCC MCC panel.

5. Apply broad practical knowledge to design of layouts - Tray Layout, Lighting, Lightning, Earthing and MCC room.
