Assistant Manager- Warehouse Operations

Role & responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end warehouse operations including inbound, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, and returns.
• Ensure inventory accuracy, stock reconciliation, and proper warehouse space utilization.
• Monitor order fulfillment and dispatch TAT and drive operational efficiency.
• Manage warehouse manpower and improve productivity and utilization.
• Control warehouse operating costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Minimize damage, wastage, shrinkage, and inventory losses.
• Manage warehouse vendors/partners and monitor their performance.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
• Prepare and monitor warehouse MIS and KPIs.
• Drive process improvement and productivity enhancement initiatives.

Preferred candidate profile

• 36 years of experience in Warehouse / Supply Chain / Logistics Operations.
• Hands-on experience in end-to-end warehouse operations.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, stock reconciliation, picking, packing, and dispatch.
• Experience in manpower handling and productivity improvement.
• Good understanding of warehouse cost control and process optimization.
• Experience in managing warehouse vendors / 3PL partners.
• Strong skills in MS Excel and WMS/ERP.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and team-management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
