Assistant Manager - Taxation

Role & responsibilities

• GST functioning, working, return filing, reconciliation
• GST Input Tax Claim reconciliation
• GST Annual return, GST Audit and Assessment
• Payable and paid - reconciliation in SAP on monthly basis
• Assistance in preparation of details for Assessment, Re-assessment and Litigation cases
• Assistance in Reply to notice / summon / query / details required by department
• Handling of statutory forms under VAT/CST regime
• Support in System & SAP changes

Context and environment

• The Job requires good knowledge of Indirect Tax viz. GST Act and rules, return filing and related preparation and reconciliation alongwith VAT/CST Act and rules, forms, process, and procedures etc.
• SAP knowledge
• Good command in MS-Office

Accountabilities

• Ensuring compliance support with Record maintenance to meet the departmental objectives
• Proper and timely reconciliation of statutory dues

Qualifications/Experience required

• Chartered Accountant / Graduate with 3-5 years experience in In-direct Taxation with good knowledge of Goods & Service Tax, Value Added Tax, Central Sales Tax
• MS-Office and SAP preference.
